COVID-19 Update (4/28/2020)

We hope this email finds you and your family safe and healthy.

Due to the extension of the statewide Stay-at-Home order through May 30th, we will still be at reduced hours but we are happy to be available to help you with your pain management.  Chiropractic care and its associated services have been deemed essential services by both state and federal government. However, until the Stay-at-Home order is over we do not suggest general maintenance therapy.

Our current office schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm. Dr. Drynan and Dr. Kelley will also be adding alternate Saturdays from 9am-1pm, to accommodate those of you who cannot come in during the week. We will also be opening up hours for our therapist Xalia to help patients with their pain management. Her hours will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and alternating Saturdays.

We ask that while in our office, you adhere to the social distancing guidelines and please maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. When you come in for your appointment, the front desk will direct you to a treatment room or designated waiting area. We have hand sanitizer available at the front desk and we will continue to clean our office according to the CDC guidelines. All doctors and therapists will be wearing masks.

Beginning May 1st, based on the requirement by the Governor, we encourage patients to wear face masks or face coverings to their appointments.

We also ask that if you have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 or if you are experiencing any symptoms of the virus please help us keep others safe and don’t schedule for now.  These symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Whole body general muscle aches
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

We will not be charging late cancellation fees at this time, so do not hesitate to cancel if you are feeling any of these symptoms or think you may have been exposed.

We continue to request that if possible only the patient comes into the office for their appointment and sadly, for now, please continue to leave your four-legged friends at home. Unfortunately dogs can be a vector through their fur from petting/human contact.

Because this situation is ever changing, we will keep everyone updated via email, our website, and our Facebook page.

Please stay safe and be well,

The Staff of Active Body Chiropractic
